Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information Voyaprint collects when you use our website, design tool, and physical-print service, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights.

Who we are

"Voyaprint" (we / us / our) operates the website at voyaprint.com and the related design tool. For privacy questions write to support@voyaprint.com.

What we collect

• Account info - your email address, sign-in provider (Google or email-link), and a unique account identifier.
• Voyage data you create - the GPS coordinates of voyages you import or draw, along with the labels, terrain settings and other styling you choose. This is stored only after you sign in. The original Google Timeline JSON or photo files you upload stay on your device - we do not upload them.
• Token and order history - token grants, unlocks, refunds, and any prints you order.
• Payment data - handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. We receive only the order metadata (amount, variant, country) needed to credit your account; we never see your card details.
• Shipping data - name, address, and an optional gift note when you order a physical print. We pass these to the print partner who fulfils your order.
• Support tickets - anything you tell us when you contact us, plus any photos you attach.
• Technical data - pages visited, broad geographic location (country level), browser type. Captured by privacy-respecting analytics that does not use cookies.

What we do not collect

• Your raw Google Timeline file - it never leaves your browser.
• Your photos - they are processed on your device for GPS extraction and never uploaded.
• Card numbers or full payment details - Lemon Squeezy handles those directly.

Why we collect it

• To run your account, save your voyages and unlock them with the tokens you bought.
• To fulfil and ship physical prints you order.
• To answer support requests and resolve failed prints.
• To send transactional emails (sign-in links, order receipts, replacement-token notices).
• To prevent abuse of the waitlist and the unlock flow.
• Aggregate, non-identifying analytics to improve the product.

Lawful bases (GDPR users)

We process the data above on the bases of (a) contract - we need it to deliver the service you signed up for; (b) legitimate interest - for security, fraud prevention and product analytics; and (c) consent for any non-essential cookies, where applicable.

Who we share it with

• Google Firebase - hosting, authentication, database and serverless functions. Data is stored on Firebase servers in the United States.
• Lemon Squeezy - payment processing and merchant of record.
• Print fulfilment partners - receive your shipping address and the model file required to produce your order. The list of partners we use depends on your shipping country.
• Email delivery - transactional emails are sent through SendGrid (via the Firebase Trigger Email extension).
• Analytics - cookieless analytics provider (Plausible / Fathom).

We never sell your data. We never share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Your account, voyages and order history are kept for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account we remove your data within 30 days, except where we have a legal obligation to retain it (for example, tax records of completed orders for the period required by law).

Your rights

You can: access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete your account, export your data in a portable format, or object to certain processing. Email support@voyaprint.com from your registered address and we will respond within 30 days.

Users in the EU and UK additionally have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data-protection authority.

Cookies

We use the minimum set of cookies needed for sign-in (a session cookie set by Firebase Authentication). Our analytics provider is cookieless. Any third-party services we link to set their own cookies subject to their own policies.

Children

Voyaprint is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children below those ages.

We will post any updates here and update the "Last updated" date above. For material changes we will also notify you by email.
